Q3 2020 - Gina Govojdean

Govojdean became one of the youngest procurement operations managers at Howmet in 2018, where she was responsible for procurement activities across five operating locations with $298 million in annual spend and $275 million in inventory. In her current role as metal flow path manager, she developed a new strategy centered on optimizing market prices and followed a risk-based approach to limit market exposure amid COVID-19. Q4 2020 - Jesse Davern

Since landing a post-graduation internship at RK Mission Critical, Davern has been with the business for 11 years. His internship later morphed into a spin-off business, modern-day RK Mission Critical, where he became the first employee of its new startup division. After serving as virtually the only employee for a period of time as the startup got off the ground, Davern now knows the ins and outs of every facet of his operation, which currently resides in a 140,000 square-foot facility.
